1. Introduction

RoamEden is a platform that connects clients with independent therapists and offers a space for counselling and creative exploration.

By using RoamEden services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

2. Nature of the Service

RoamEden provides:

• access to independent therapists

• a shared booking and communication system via Konfidens

• a framework for accessing counselling services

RoamEden itself does not provide therapy.
All therapeutic services are delivered by independent practitioners.

3. Relationship with Therapists

When engaging in counselling:

• you enter into a separate agreement with your therapist

• your therapist is responsible for the therapeutic work, including clinical decisions and record keeping

• RoamEden is not responsible for the outcomes of therapy

4. Booking & Communication

All bookings and therapist communication take place through the RoamEden clinic system.

This allows:

• secure messaging for scheduling

• session management in one place

Therapists may not be available for ongoing support outside of scheduled sessions.

5. Fees & Payment

• Standard sessions are £65 for 50 minutes

• Payment is made via the RoamEden system or agreed methods (including BACS)

RoamEden aims to balance accessibility with fair pay for therapists.

Additional options may include:

• discounted sessions for Ko-fi supporters

• reduced-rate offers via the RoamEden newsletter

• a “pay it forward” contribution system to support others

All payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed.

6. Cancellations & Missed Sessions

Each therapist sets their own cancellation policy, which will be shared before sessions begin.

Typically:

• a minimum notice period is required

• missed or late-cancelled sessions may be charged in full

7. Confidentiality & Safety

Therapy is confidential, with limits where there is:

• risk of serious harm

• safeguarding concerns

• legal obligation

In situations of immediate risk, therapists may take appropriate action, including contacting emergency services or a named emergency contact.

RoamEden is not a crisis service.

8. Appropriate Use

By using RoamEden, you agree to:

• engage respectfully with therapists

• provide accurate information where required

• not misuse the platform or communication systems

9. Data & Privacy

Your data is handled in line with the RoamEden Privacy Policy.

• RoamEden manages platform and booking data

• Therapists manage their own clinical data

10. Limitation of Liability

RoamEden provides access to therapists but does not accept liability for:

• the outcomes of therapeutic work

• decisions made within therapy

Nothing in this agreement limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

11. Changes to the Service

RoamEden may update or adapt services as the platform evolves.
